Saturday, 18th April 2026 saw a trial debate which was a taster for the first in a series of live debates on all topics related to the life and work of The Airship Association. Saturday, 9th May was the first 'proper' debate, entitled:
"The Airship Association - Floating Ideas Live Debate 1 - Airship facts & Fallacies".

The topic for this debate will be ‘Airships, What are they good for?’ and will be hosted on our Website, Facebook and YouTube. Our expert panel for this discussion will be Gregory Gottlieb (Chairman of the Airship Association and Host), Professor Barry Prentice (President at Buoyant Aircraft Systems International Inc., and Professor of Supply Chain Management, at the I.H. Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba), Johannes Eissing (CEO, Troponaut and experienced airship design engineer), Spencer Horne (CEO, Cloudline, a South African airship operator) and Muhammad Mohsin Raza (CEO, The Boosters, an advertising focused airship builder and operator from Pakistan).
