10th International Airship Convention & Exhibition – Friedrichshafen, Germany 17th to 18th April 2015.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Despite many false starts the airship industry faces challenging opportunities in the near future. Opportunities for proposed cargo airships in Alaska, northern Canada and Russia have recently been extensively promoted and offer exciting challenges. Moreover, Brazil has also recently declared its intent to build and fly cargo airships. Market studies also show that globally there is a viable airship industry. Numerous issues have to be addressed in sustaining an effective airship industry; the convention will focus on the issues.

In partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DGLR) the Airship Association will hold the 10th Biennial International Airship Convention & Exhibition in conjunction with Aero Friedrichshafen from 17th to 18th April 2015 in Friedrichshafen.

The convention regularly receives more abstracts than it is possible to accommodate in the final programme. Selected authors should be sure that they are in a position to present their paper at the convention and that the abstract clearly sets out the key issues.

If your paper is accepted you will be notified by 15 January 2015 and your name will appear in the confirmed programme for the convention.
